How to become an Ultrasound Technician
Are you interested in helping people learn about their health and working with technical equipment? If so then you may want to consider becoming an ultrasound technician.
As an ultrasound technician you should have an interest in science, good communication skills and enjoy working with others. Before attending a college ultrasound technology program you must complete high school or have obtained your GED and you must have passed certain college-preparatory classes, including English, math and science. Next you will need to earn at least a two-year associate degree in ultrasound technology from an accredited college.
As an ultrasound technologist you will perform ultrasound examinations to generate pictures of a person's internal organs or of an unborn baby.
